Activated charcoal in the bathroom. One mask, three ways

Activated charcoal bought in a pharmacy is mainly used as a medicine for food poisoning. Meanwhile, it also perfect as a facial mask. All women who want to thoroughly cleanse their skin and get rid of any blackheads, impurities or mattify, should definitely try this out. Its preparation is very quick and easy and the effects are unbelievable. You do not need much, only activated charcoal, water, rise flour, yoghurt and cosmetic clay.

How to prepare it? It is a piece of cake. It is based on activated charcoal. It is best to buy in capsules – just open it and pour the fine powder into a bowl. It requires about 3-5 capsules for a portion of the mask.

The second component of the masks should be chosen accordingly to your skin needs. If you have extremely oily skin, prone to overproduction of sebum, the best solution would be a cosmetic clay and a little bit of water. You can successfully replace it with rice flour. Due to the fact that all the products used in the mask are dry, they should be mixed with cool, boiled water. However, pour the water with caution. You must be very careful not to add too much of it and not to get too thin, runny consistency.

If you’re worried that the charcoal supplied with clay will dry your skin, you can replace it with yogurt. Mix just one tablespoon of yogurt with activated charcoal and apply it on your face for 15-20 minutes.

Another solution is to use demineralized or boiled water. It should be added gradually and checked whether the mask the consistency does not get too runny. Water also activates the ingredients contained in the charcoal.

This homemade mask should be done 2-3 times a week. Regular use is the key to success. Therefore, your skin becomes smooth and velvety, pores are cleansed and narrow, excess sebum balanced. The skin regains a nice colour, and even slightly brightens. Activated charcoal balances the pH of the skin and provides it with essential minerals. The mask will help to remove any impurities and pollution from the surface of the skin.
